I also feel like ARTPOP truly separated the Little Monsters from the fans, and proved to Gaga who would stick around, even if the GP didn’t love the ARTPOP era. But ARTPOP is my personal favourite album of all-time, so it always has a special place in my heart. It’s become a big part of Stan culture. Just like your magnum opus is your “Ray Of Light”, your messy album that alienates the GP is your “ARTPOP”. I feel like while people still remember BTW fondly, it’s only in a nostalgic passing way, while on the other hand people still debate and throw hands over ARTPOP to this very day.
