I think what we are looking for is somebody with that extra spark and fierce attitude that Gaga used to have.

Someone who could make a great show out of a simple bop and make it sound like the song of the year.

That's what I'm looking for anyway. Ava seemed like she had potential in the beginning but now I've seen more of her she's fizzling out into obscurity much like the artists you mentioned above.

Carly Rae might make cute bops but where's the fierce attitude and the big theatrical show? She just seems like a cute girl to me, there's nothing special going on to keep me interested.

Charli XCX seems like she has no personality and looks like she'd be dull at parties. :laughga:

:reductive:

Charli would be opposite of dull at parties :ladyhaha: She's probably making the most forward thinking pop right now tbh

if you want to hear some new exciting pop music, I would recommend Miss Marina Lambrini Diamandis

I'm a Marina stan, but so far LaF is anything but new and exciting:messga: it's generic adult contemporary lol.

Alice's label and management are sleeping so hard on her.

This is the biggest crime since RCA was paying dust to Brooke Candy.

Cupcakke: Hilarious rapper with clever rhymes and some great bops
Charli XCX: Creative party high queen
Tove Lo: Writes some of the best choruses in pop music
Azealia Banks: Fuses dance music with rap (she´s problematic but I love her)
Kim Petras: BUbbegum pop perfection with debut, leaning into dark side of pop now (also kinda problematic but still a queen)
Brooke Candy: Gay

I'd be okay with Kim if she wasn't working with Dr. Luke :koons:
