That's why I hate when the "we should always believe the victim"  mantra is blindly applied to each case. 
We weren't there so the only thing we should do is admit we simply can't know about the events and wish that justice will be served.

Folks apply it to every situations and call Johnny Depp a monster in doubt when he could actually be the victim.  Folks tried to cancel his ass without being sure if he was guilty of anything.

Imagine if folks had cancel gaga when she was accused of being a tyrannic boss who forced her employee to sleep in her bed which would be easily consider sexual harassment.

I can see both sides in the story. I won't take a side though because I don't know what's happened and the evidence isn't the best. 

As for the finger, from what I read she alledgedly threw the glass in retaliation to him throwing a vodka bottle. 

I have noticed alot of people, particularly on social media not only speculating but talking like they have all the facts and I can see the same occuring in this thread. Toilet of the internet comes to mind. 

This is kinda how I feel too. I don't know a ton about the case, and I've never really had a strong opinion either way, but isn't this just more of the same he said/she said stuff that came out during their divorce? I feel like there was a lot of bad stuff going on between the both of them.

By the way guys, these court documents are not the "facts" or the "Real Truth coming out!", they are just Depp and his legal team's side of the story. This story looks really messy and I don't think there is one clear "victim" and one clear "abuser."

I literally just finished watching Aquaman five minutes before opening this thread?

Like how could she look so normal on screen, and portray a woman who seems to be able to understand the ordinary emotions of human-beings and be a part of a film that has central themes of promoting bravery and self-assertion, and yet be this monstrous abuser in private? It's astounding how she manages to hide this part of her. 

Well at least they don't need Amber Heard to carry Aquaman 2, it is a movie about Jason Momoa's character after all, and he'd be fine with or without her, maybe they can focus on his relationship with the villains instead.

Yea but the difference is Johnny’s exes have come out in full support of him but amber has a history of domestic violence including being arrested for assaulting an ex, I mean what more proof do we need
