That would be cool. The way she treats her band & lets them shine kind of reminds me of Bruce and his E Street Band. IA, having one set band can make a big difference in the synergy and vibe of the music. For example, I think her band did a much better job with the material from Joanne on tour and in various appearances than some of the people who did the instrumentation on the studio version (like Josh from QotSA or Mark himself). For example, that extended riff from Tim Stewart at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was an amazing addition to John Wayne and I wish it was on the actual track.

Music producers are also capable of doing what the live band does though, I don't get how the live band is 'superior' to the music producers she collaborates with, like you think Zedd, DJ White Shadow, RedOne, Mark Ronson, Bloodpop, Father John Misty don't play the instruments as they do? In fact these producers usually master several instruments rather than one (which might be the case for the live band).

Music producers specialise in creating something new, whereas the liveband emulates what is created by the songwriters/music producers. Michael Bearden is usually the one who arranges the live renditions of her shows including the interludes, extended intros and outros. I think they just specialise in very specific fields and they do their jobs responsibly but at the same time also being familiar with the work of others.
