More manufactured: Beyoncé or Rihanna?

Beyonce has a lot of say in what she puts out, what she writes her music, produces, all the ideas and the creative process is unique and well thought out. Unlinke Rihanna, Beyonce has a heavy input on everything from stage production, performances and her music. Whereas for Rihanna it seems like it’s more manufactured.

Beyoncé does write some of her music. Formation verses were written by her for example according to the producers of the song.

Neither. This is kind of unfair imo.

You could maybe say that Rihanna was earlier on, particularly when she was routinely throwing out an album every single November without fail. That routine method of releasing could be considered heavily manufactured. However recently, and with Anti, she has definitely proved that she's in charge of herself. She has 100% elevated and she will continue to.

No matter how often people try to rag on Beyoncé for her supposed lack of involvement - she literally can't win. She released two heavily personal albums in a row, with content that probably couldn't be more explicit about her personal life. To haters, she's either not involved in the process enough or she's exploiting her personal issues for press and attention. To me, being manufactured would imply that anybody else could release your music and it wouldn't be any different. I don't think you could apply that to a lot of Beyoncé's output - especially her recent albums. There's way too much identity in there.

First of all, in our realm Beywl is not a Queen.

Second, she is manufractured to the point that we don’t know if she even has a personality.

Third, Rihanna might be manufractured when it comes to her road to stardom and het commercial peaks, but her personality is very real and down to earth.  Plus when you take for example, you’ll recognize that her personality shines trough.
