She says she always felt she has two hearts, one being Joanne's, and her career in music is meant to pick up where Joanne had left. I believe that the Fame from a Warholian point of view, the need to spread love and preach acceptance and this obsession with her deceased aunt are things that have been in her heart forever. Not planned but really some things she's ever been and lived for, so she decided to honor these ideas and "icons" in her life in a very natural way. I remember reading the Joanne's poem that appeared in the Fame booklet and thinking, "I wish my nephews would remember me that way some day."
