I mean, when Shallow really hits #1, nothing there is left to accomplish for that song, it had the perfect run. LilyLark 10,122 Posted March 4, 2019 Share Posted March 4, 2019 JMO, but I think once Shallow peaks, as it just did, this will probably be the end of the ASIB songs although I wouldn't be surprised if she performed some at her future shows. ARUTW was released to radio but barely had any play—I think in part because people were surprised at just how successful Shallow was that they failed to give ARUTW the proper push. Guest Posted March 4, 2019 Share Posted March 4, 2019 I'm kind of hoping we're done with ASIB tbh, I loved every second of it but a. it's been going on for a while and I feel like it might become gimmick-y if they continue w promo and b. the Oscars and a #1 hit would be a good way to round off the era. If she did Ellen or some talk show, it would be an interview and a Shallow performance if we're lucky. Tbh, I don't care if she promotes the song or not as a single (I find it to be pointless and excessive at this time, we don't want her to be overexposed again) but I would love a performance of ARUTW and INLA, just the performance, even if it's in Vegas.
