Gaga, Beyonce, Xtina and Katy stans are bizarrely insecure about Britney

I do not understand what you are talking about. :triggered:

We know Britney is a legend and icon but she is currently not doing anywhere near as good as the other pop girls you mentioned. In her peak, Britney was #1 and was doing really good but now she isn't. We are just pointing that out. It does not mean we are insecure about her success or anything. :ohwell:

And Beyoncé? With Destiny's Child, she's one of the most successful artists to live. 22 Grammy's, $350 million net worth, a HUGE touring act and multiple worldwide multi-platinum selling albums. Consistency.

Yes Beyonce is very consistent! I feel that Britney though is always down played for her less succesful tours (which are still very successful) and her album sales which are poorer than some of her major peers but Britney has hits for days, i feel like the only artist to have a higher amount of iconic hits is Madonna.

Well my number 1 is Gaga but Britney is my number 2. Maybe it would be different for me if i experienced Britneys early eras as Im only 19.

This exactly.

A Hybrid

Lmao I can do anything that’s related to making music better than Britney. If people are shading Britney it’s because she doesn’t deserve any of this as much as the others.

Not really. She was only musically relevant from 1999-2004.  2010-2012 was a cute mini comeback for her but nothing close to her original peak. Even then, her signs didn’t really smash from 2002-2004, other than toxic.

No, she was relevant and successful from 1999-2013. 2006-07 was the year of her meltdown where she was THE most relevant celebrity as that EVERYONE was talking about her state and scandals. Even her album at that time spun two hits and sold moderately well (she did NO PROMO for it) and then her 'comeback' in 2008-09 with Circus was only a comeback because she wasn't looking like a mess. In 2011, Hold It Against Me went #1 and the album was okay success, not huge but not a flop either. She flopped for the first time in 2013 with Britney Jean, those are facts.

Truth is, apart from gays, nobody really cares about Britney any more. So I doubt any major female singer would feel insecure about her

Britney had HUGE album sales though. Britney was relevant from 1999-2013 until she released Britney Jean. I mean, she was basically THE biggest thing in the world in 2007 when she had that iconic meltdown.

I love Britney Spears, and even her stans need to agree on the fact her last two albums are just more than weak...

I would love her to return with something at least as good as Blackout or Femme Fatale (won't ask for more)

I agree with you @TropicOfCANCER - she was most relevant until 2004.

2006-07 she became a public figure for the media and the GP.. I love Britney and I loved Glory - it's one of my favourite albums of 2016.
