James Gibson 3,470 Posted March 2, 2019 Share Posted March 2, 2019 that part pf her hair is thinning for years. ever since the Joanne era when she started doing ponytails it's being more noticeable. it's probably from intense bleaching and chemestry, but that's an issue with her since early her career. in 2011 there news where she stated her hair didn't grew long anymore due to her many changes to her hair. notice how most of her hairstylings now have that part of her hair pulled back so it doesn't look too contrasting from the other parts Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's traction alopecia from wig glue and pins, and breakage from over-bleaching and constant heat styling (which she is still prone to doing 'cause girl seems to lighten over her pre-lightened hair allll the time still ), also hair loss can be caused by autoimmune diseases like she has. Edit: it could also be that she has a habit of running her hands through her hair in the same spot. When you part your hair in the same place every day, or run your fingers through it a lot, it starts to recede slowly in that area. Also repeatedly wearing your hair in the same style can cause this (Jojo Siwa and her ponytail for example) I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. latikofficial 829 Posted March 2, 2019 Share Posted March 2, 2019 The bleaching and dying are probably the least likely thing to cause permanent hair loss, since bleach is a lot more of a controlled substance and products like olaplex exist. It's most likely due to things that aren't as controllable; like having it pulled up a ton, wearing lift tapes, and heat damage. Aging is also a big thing that plays a factor in hair, but I think it's just the lighting mixed with how pale her current shade of blonde is; her edges at every other event looked pretty thick and healthy given how much she does to them. And she’s always had a high hairline and wide forehead, but I can’t find any pictures of her when she was younger that prove whether or not her hairline on the left side of her forehead was higher or not. Apparently people say she was experiencing hair loss before American Horror Story? Can someone give me details about where it happened if it’s true? Miel 15,009 Posted March 2, 2019 Share Posted March 2, 2019 There are a lot of factors that play into this, but the biggest one I think is that her hairline has always been high and pointed back at the sides (very similar to many men’s). As others have said, the new bleach job contrasting with her skin, years of hair alteration, and even some mild traction alopecia play a role in it. Though, in my opinion, it’s just the hair color and lighting emphasizing her sharp hairline. Granted it definitely was good styling on Freddie’s part, but that was the most full her hairline has looked in ages. I’m sure she gets top notch topical care for her scalp and hairline.
