erfaan 2,836
It's arguable that in some countries this is her new peak. In Australia, she's never been this successful.

She just probably feels tired (because of her condition) and not into public appearances anymore. I noticed that every time she has interviews in the past couple of years, she is not as energetic (I'm not saying this in a bad way) as when she was in her peak of, say, 2010. As to awards, oh ASIB is a peak.

This era is certainly huge for her and easily the second highest peak in her career, but I think people fall victim to recency bias a bit. 09-11 was bigger. I agree. Though, at the same time, it's almost a very different kind of success and peak. Critical reception and overall praise in fields that she is both familiar in and that she is new in. That cross-over is certainly rare and worth noting. Plus, "Academy Award Winner Lady Gaga" whew, lordt. 3 points in and ready for more
Wet Fire 7,766
You know, in 2015 when the Oscar performance took place, I knew in my heart that Lady Gaga is going to exceed all estimates about her 'comeback'. Then she won a Grammy for Jazz, give another unforgettable Oscar peformance and had the most-watched SB HT performance across all platforms of all time. And also came a Golden Globe for AHS. Now look at her, she's untouchable. The GP follows her every goddamn move, she is one of the most respected artists in the world. Received three standing ovations at the Oscars. Set and broke multiple new records. Is becoming a streaming force gradually. Shallow is a smash hit, one of her greatest hits of course. A megahit movie. A Best Actress Oscar nomination. The media kisses her feet everytime she makes a red carpet appearance. She's an icon. A legend in the making. And all this **** in just 10 years. That being said, no matter wherever she goes musically or artistically, I know she will never back down and each time will overcome her 'failures'. She does that. She's taught me that. And I'm so ****ing proud of her.
