Diamond heart99 5,262
More like she saved ASIB...big ups for Bradley too. That movie could have easily been a piece of garbage and a huge flop. They made it iconic. Gaga was never over, she is just evolving. Grow with her damn it! I’m blonde, I’m skinny, I’m rich and I’m a little bit of a bitch
NewYorkCity 10,515
We will be able to say this once she releases her next solo single/album.

Say all you want about Bradley but props to him for realizing he hit the jackpot casting her. She will have people talking about this movie for awhile. I loved Babs version but was never affected like this one. Still playing the soundtrack 😍

It perpetually stunts artistic growth as artists are not allowed to mature themselves or their music. Gaga actually came out fully adult... her music appealed to an older audience from the start, she never targeted her music at pre-teens or teens directly even though she picked up a sizeable fan base there. So she isn't saddled with as much baggage as Katy is, whose music and image has always been more literally immature. Gaga should just be allowed to grow, along with her fanbase. She's doing everything right lately, trying to jump back and target teenagers would be completely the wrong move and just seem desperate, aka MDNA. But the younger generation are following Beyoncé & Rihanna
Mr S 8,362
Haven't read the whole thread, but I don't see it that way. Gaga saved herself. Like she said at the Oscars, she worked hard for this. If not ASIB, it would have been something else. An example of saving would be The Britney album with Womanizer. The producers and PR people did everything. They got the hottest sounds, got all the good gigs, etc and she just showed up. No shade to her. But that is an example of something saving someone. ASIB was all Gaga. Pray4FameGa 3,141
I think we’re forgetting Gaga’s ability to reinvent herself. Her next album, rest assured, will be like nothing we’ve heard from her before. She won’t “go back” to TF/ BTW sounds. I personally think it’s time she made something much more mature. Fun, dancey and mature at once.
