Also he said that Freddie's ghost stopped him from learning about the rape accusations against Bryan. I mean really? :rip:

Shouldn't have the ghost stopped him from falling off as well then? :nooo:

In all seriousness though, the Bohemian Rhapsody stain has bled into Rami. While enjoyable to be sure, the movie was not good and certainly not up to the Oscar standard. That's just a fact. It was critically panned, factually inaccurate, edited poorly, and it was lip-synced. I think those of us who love cinema have been so frustrated with its random winning over other deserved films (not just ASIB). Poor Rami, who is the only one who deserved any awards, is getting caught in the cross fire.

I feel bad that he fell though.

He won an Oscar for playing a man who died of AIDS and he didnt even utter the word in his speech. I lost a little respect at that point.

Did we listen to the same speech? :laughga: AIDS is not something that Freddie wanted to be known for.. Rami mentioned LGBTQ community and immigrants and when you consider he had to thank everyone and mention his family it was more than enough.

Yes he did but Rami deserved it more and that’s why he got it. People vote and people clearly voted for him. Respect.

And since when the Oscars is about deserving? Emma Stone over Hurpert? Jennifer Lawrence over Emmanuelle Riva? And one of the most shocking, Gwyneth Paltrow over Fernanda Montenegro. So, when you think they reaward who really deserves, remember Gwyneth Paltrow has an Oscar.

No one wants to be known for AIDS. But its an epedemic that is eating up our community. It was a major part of that movie. Creating awareness does not cost anything. I love you but I dont think you can understand this. A lot of people were offended by this, not just me.

I hope he’s okay.. He’s honestly such a sweetheart and doesn’t deserve ANY of the hate that this site has for him. He literally goes to Gaga at every award show and says hi because he clearly has respect for her - Why can’t we have respect for him? Because some old dudes gave him the award that Bradley was nominated for? Give me a break.

Well for me it’s more about his comments regarding Freddie. Not everyone is complaining about Bradley not winning.
