Well then there goes my theory Your theory does make sense in my city (Boston) our government made a deal with Comcast where you don't get free channels because they have made them digital. Basically forcing people to get a cable company, if you try to use a Coaxial Cable it does not let you watch any free channels it just promotes Comcast. They were must-see moments that touched demographics that would otherwise not tune in to the game. No one gives a s*** about Maroon 5 except the moms that would already be watching, if that. This was bound to happen since they didn’t book a bigger headline act. I also think it doesn’t help that the patriots keep going to it and people are bored of watching them win.
