After last nights "show", Maroon 5 has taken heat and now a simple search of "maroon 5 nickelback" will show a plethora of tweets comparing the two...or worse.

I really wonder how this will affect their career

Their discography is not doing well on iTunes compared to others who have performed.

misunderstood

The Nickelback hate train I've never understood, like ever. It's so cringy lol.

New Nickelback is Imagine Dragons. They’re almost identical.

Maroon 5 is more like the modern Matchbox Twenty or something overly generic you’d hear in your mom’s minivan on the way to swimming lessons.

Just look at their discography, they had the #1 song of 2002 with their debut (first song to appear on Hot 100) hit "How You Remind Me"

Also, their 2005 album All The Right Reasons, was the 13th best selling album from 2000-2009.

I'm surprised people didn't think this sooner. Maroon 5 is not a Rolling Stones, it's a hit rock pop band and that's it...

More like a pop singer who's marketed as a band, but is really just supported by Max Martin-esque production. :selena:

Wow, Superbowl truly might end their career. And they don't seem them being the type of artists that can do a comeback either.
