VenusBlackStar 1,301 Posted February 4, 2019 Share Posted February 4, 2019 So I was a fan of Maroon 5 quite heavily until they nearly completely abandoned their soul and funk-inspired sound for the pop output that is now half of their discography, and I wasn't really expecting much from the show. I stan Songs About Jane 5 the way some of y'all stan FameGa. I've given them a chance though consistently, up until the latest record though because the singles did not grab me whatsoever. But I thought their set was wisely chosen and was surprised they kicked it off with "Harder to Breathe." I knew they were going to include "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved," and of course "Moves Like Jagger" cuz that's like one of the biggest hits that sort of "revitalized" them and brought them into the pop world in full. I didn't mind it but I wasn't like blown away.
