2019 — planet Earth. Everyone uses social media and posts personal/attention seeking things. And I’m also allowed* to come for your opinion and nothing will change that.

Welcome to public discourse.

Plus with that example you just gave... it really isn’t a bad thing to post that. It’s a notable thing to post about, doesn’t matter if you agree or not. Please stop comin for peoples life choices and their choice to share them w the world. You’re literally on a site dedicated to discussing a stranger’s achievements and life goals too lmao stop

I never said it was necessarily a bad thing specifically. I said it was for attention. And I mean, she made a song about a person (an ex, or exes) and mentioned their name. Let’s not pretend attention-seeking is out of the question here.

P.S.- Billions? Yeah, I brought that up because you clearly have no understanding of how many people in the world don’t have the resources to even contribute to the conversation. :bye:

3.2 billion people had access to the internet in 2015.

Not taking a side in y'all's argument really, just being a butt :derpga:

Well she's right, what more can she do? When will people stop bitching for ages about stuff like this?

Do you hear that? It's poison.

If you’re not arguing that it’s a bad thing then congrats you just brought up a pointless argument.

and yeah, billions. I said billions bc it’s a fact. you clearly came for me without googling how many people use social media first and now it’s backfired bc you’re incorrect: https://www.statista.com/statistics/278414/number-of-worldwide-social-network-users/

I'm just put off by her manipulative words.

She's not wrong, a select amount of you users have no idea about her career status and influence in Asian countries and play it off as her "stealing" it  :smh: she's literally the biggest pop star there from the West

So she's still milking this non-issue right before dropping an album, huh? Playing the victim is the oldest trick in the book but clearly it still works and she seems to looooooove it. You go Queen.

People are the worst. What’s the difference between me getting a French tattoo, and Ariana getting a Japanese tattoo? ****ing nothing. Leave her alone, she did nothing wrong, and she didn’t snap at fans, she defended herself.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Yeah that “I’m not coming to Japan” tweet was unnecessary imo

Do you hear that? It's poison.

I don’t really get the issue tbh. Maybe because I’m not Japanese and I don’t know how they could be offended. But that aside, she’s really guilt tripping her fans or the people who called her out by victimising herself in this tweet. Not cool. This led me to believe that it’s a publicity stunt at this point.

Does it matter? Damage is done

Gaga said something similar back in 2013-2014 and y’all didnt tell her she was “attention-seeking” or courting controversy.

Shes literally on top right now and everyone keeps trying to attack/belittle her after everything she’s went through.

Reminded me of this tweet

Lol! 2.7 billion people altogether? And you said billions.? You just proved your arguement wrong.

Plural?

GRAMMAR

(of a word or form) denoting more than one, or (in languages with dual number) more than two.

"the first person plural"

So, Factually, you are incorrect. And let’s not pretend all of those folks or even a tenth are even interested in Ariana.

She’s got a point... :laughga: Why are people still attacking her, her intentions were obviously good and she tried fixing her mistake. It’s her body and it’s not like she get offensive symbols on it.

And what's funny is that it's usually Americans who get offended by it. Like I get their intentions but it's getting ridiculous.

I personally was just annoyed by the tattoo cuz: gurl you have all the money in the world and literally just released a song flexing about it and couldn't afford a ****ing translator??
