2 million for ASIB and 3 million for Shallow are on the horizon for US SPS

After this giant boost, we are gonna get in the coming weeks, Interscope might as well just skip certifying it double platinum cause it will be ready for triple platinum by the end of march

I remember the Sound of Music tribute was getting INSANE views across all platforms. Im hoping they just get the rights to the performance and there can be 1 official video going around getting all the views. But you're right....for some reason I'm not counting on it HAHAHAHA

Perhaps we can count on our good sista @Admin to let our voices be heard. We need a Shallow performance on YouTube as soon as the show has aired. Please!!!

to me, she was amazing through the whole film, yes. some of her outstanding scenes?

don't get me wrong, i'm not underestimating gaga as an actress, she did an amazing job, but these 2 scenes (amongst many others from the wife)... the need to not say anything but show everything simply with your eyes, your face, portray the stress & the anger you feel in a movie & portray it in a way that, as i said, no words are needed... it might just be my opinion, but she deserves this one. :nooo:

After watching these 2 clips, she deserves the Oscar.

The Guardian: Oscar-nominated songs reviewed: All the Stars, Shallow, The Place Where Lost Things Go

Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper
Shallow

"'Hoo, huh, uh, huhh-ow, huh, huhh-huhhh'. Lady Gaga’s guttural yawn from last October’s trailer to A Star Is Born was the world’s first taste of Shallow. It was an auspicious start, disseminated via millions of memes, but whichever way you cut it Gags and Brad’s heavily varnished authenticity ballad is an immediate classic, all warm strings, vintage melodies and a soaring second half that blows away all cynicism."

Meanwhile:

Spoiler

Kendrick Lamar, SZA
All the Stars

"Combine a risk-taking, Pulitzer prize-winning rapper with one of the most gut-punching vocalists of recent years, chuck them into a groundbreaking blockbuster, Black Panther, and what do you get? 'Meh', basically. Sure, the beat stomps, the synths twinkle and SZA’s verse is especially good, but this is so generic, expensive-sounding and default Epic (yes there’s a string section) that it could have been Flo Rida and Pixie Lott and not much would change." :ladyhaha:
