Not a big deal, but Variety was one of the few publications that didn't like her performance at the Grammys. Here's what the article says:

"Lady Gaga’s Bradley Cooper-less spin on “Shallow” was one of the evening’s few duds — it was as though, separated from her duet partner, she were running through all her first-draft ideas before a more 'serious' Oscars moment. The performance’s 'ARTPOP'-leftover glam-rock trappings and miscalculated theatrics felt like a retreat into the safety of falsity, unworthy of a star who’d shown us so much subtle calibration and real inspiration in her movie this year. But her inclusion, and willingness to take a risk in a pre-Oscar season when safety might be more advisable, was appreciated, too."

These are overestimated because he double used the YOUTUBE streams that were already included in On demand streams ...Just look at BTW and Applause .

Well, if u calculate MR numbers assuming Billboard included Youtube, is it still 3x plat eligible?

We're far from the Shallow now

Billboard wasn't crazy about it either, they put her on #11 of all performances of the night :saladga:

I don't really understand what was wrong with her performance... Ok, her moves probably were a little odd, she could've rehearsed more, but her voice and stage presence were stellar. :triggered:

This was the most "gaga" performance we've had at an award show in a while and I loved it honestly :gayhat:

Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?

Yeah.

It's the same guy who tweeted immediately after her performance on Sunday:

Ultimately, like with everything else art-related, it comes down to individual taste.

Even when it wasn't 100% praised the performance gave the song the biggest boost of the night and it already was #1 before her performance, her power :applause:

Thrasher

As much as i love Perfect Godlusion, A-YO deserved to be the lead single, it would have done way better (not a smash but some cute weeks on Top 10 maybe) and it would have paved the way for Million Reasons to become as big as Someone Like You.
