I think the UK chart rules are one of the best tbh. Germany's revenue-based one is also pretty interesting

Kindly talk about Ariana here. It just causes pages of unnecessary arguments which is not needed here.

Im not surprised that Ariana is doing this good. The Billboard charts were modified for artists like her. However, there is a legitimate question on why she isnt at the same level anywhere else in the world.

I can only speak for the country I live in, but ever since Trump got elected American singers have it twice as hard charting in Germany. There's been a huge growth of Anti-Americanism and a huge "passive" boycott/disinterest in American artists overall. At the beginning of the decade the German charts almost completely mirrored the Hot 100 (sans a few local acts)

Streaming took over sis. Why would Billboard make iTunes the most important thing when the sales are crashing year after year?

What do you mean? 7 Rings reached #1 in 20 countries WW.

Thats cool but its that combination of radio and streaming that makes Ariana such a force in US, but nowhere else. She has no1 elsewhere also, but nowhere is at the level where she is in US and I think thats because her team really played the Billboard game to the point this time around.

can you hyst stop discrediting  her and accept the fact that GP really likes her and her music  :awkney:

And if you wanna speak about shady chart things what about Poker Face going #1 in US for 1 week because Interscope made thatFlo Rida song unable to be brought on ITUNES just for PF reaching #1 ?! :lolly:

See ur fave does the same things :reductive:

Thats good, if you ask me. UK and Germany charts are probably the best, as someone said earlier.

The UK album chart better represents the true consumption of albums as a whole.

The revenue-based one puts a value on money (willingness to pay).

The US conversion system seems arbitrary. Why 150 streams? Why 10 tracks?
