The banners and emails sent out from labels to media base are the main promo for stations and do help convince them to play it tho. She said when a song gets a lot of ads a week, they take that into consideration. So If big stations spin songs a lot, more tend to follow along. It’s a trend thing. It’s so stupid, but makes sense.
