S0436 10,215
I just can’t imagine Academy voters knowing any of the other songs apart from Shallow. The other songs are mostly forgettable, in the end credits etc...

Seguro son las de Televisa, ojalá se filtren los nombres. Somebody who never acted before got to be the lead in a BP frontrunner and be oscar nominated for it ... they are just jealous! Hell it was the first movie song since "My Heart Will Go On" (1997) to be nominated for a Grammy outside Best Song Written for Visual Media... See You Again was nominated for Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo Performance and Song for Visual Media but failed to be nominated for an Oscar
asana15 16,648
It could be just a coincidence or even nothing, but hear me out: This tweet, and then I remembered reading - Gypsy is coming back together. New Regency has come aboard to finance, and negotiating to direct is Amy Sherman-Palladino, who is coming off winning four Emmy Awards for writing, creating, exec producing and directing The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel..... …..I am hearing names that include Melissa McCarthy, who is Oscar nominated for Can You Ever Forgive Me? and who worked with Sherman-Palladino on Gilmore Girls, but I am told that no casting decisions have been set and that call will be made by Sherman-Palladino once her deal is closed. Sherman-Palladino is repped by CAA https://deadline.com/2019/02/gypsy-amy-sherman-palladino-the-marvelous-mrs-maisel-revival-new-regency-1202551539/ Barbra Streisand has exited this project, but we all know that Gaga was heavily linked to be cast in it. So, now, when the project has gotten a second wind, I don't think it's a big stretch to connect the dots...
