How can someone choose a religion but then not take the whole package?  If you don't believe in everything that's official from the catholic institution, then you believe in another version of that religion, which is NOT the chatholic one

Because morality does not come from religion. That would be a horrible place to live

what can change is people's opinions, and that's what's happening, and that's what you're bothered by for some reason.

also how do you give money to religions? in islam the only time you're asked to spend money, is if you give it yourself to poor people.

I literally don't get why you're mad that some religious people are smart enough to choose between good and bad, and influence their peers.

I'm not simply bothered, I'm realistic. A dogmatic religion can't change, and if something wrong it's written in a holy book, it will never be deleted from there

And for the money, I talk for my experience with catholicism: everything.comes.down.to.the.money

People are asked for money even during the mass! It's THAT ****ed up. The church navigates in a sea of gold, and they pretend to be in costant need of it

Christians follow the New Testament. When Jesus died, the laws of the Old Testament were no longer in effect. That’s why Christians often refer to themselves as “New Testament Christians”.

You're not being realistic, if you're being realistic then you'd know that there's no way that religion will be eliminated, what can happen is for people to starting progressing and being able to tell what's right and wrong, and thankfully that's what's happening. I'll talk that over them sticking to everything that their religion says, just because that's what it says.

We don't have that in Islam, but once again, that's yet another reason why it's good for people to have their own opinion instead of blindly following what their religion says.

Honestly. And it's SO OFTEN @hankhatesyouall, but the admin of all people comes in and pretends not to understand why @ReginaGeorge expressed a lack of surprise to see the thread be from hank...

And look what this thread turned into: a bunch of people arguing over what group should be exiled and why. Xenophobia, pure and simple--this thread was baiting people into expressing racially charged sh*t, and it's disturbing to have forum officials not only not realize this but actively defend the gadfly original poster.

I think it's a good strategy for anyone who doesn't appreciate this kind of content to rise above arguing about it and simply focus on the pattern and the one person so often in common here.
