Piracy wasn't an issue back then either though.

There were also less people alive back then

With the combination of piracy and ticket pricing today, I think it's still a great achievement :applause:

Yeah but I don’t think piracy has that much impact here lol. What matters is that The Bodyguard made almost double the amount and A Star Is Born did not dethrone it.

Yeah that's almost 30 years ago. US population alone was 256m and today it's 325m.

You're right, thats what it says. For some reason I click on 2019 adjustment and nothing changes, weird....

It's done $265 million in adjusted gross, so ASIB is not there quite yet.

Is that suppose to make ASIB look better? Because it does not :huntyga:

The Bodyguard made $265 million in adjusted gross back in 1992, while ASIB has made $206 million. So... The Bodyguard has made more money and sold more tickets when there were fewer people and ASIB has sold less when there are more people :wtfga:

Yas hope the movie theatre extension makes it go way higher. Im going to go see it again.

I’m planning on seeing it again in theaters.....but on Tuesday when tickets are $5. :poot:

Rachel performing this song was always my favorite part of The Bodyguard. Ally should cover it.
