However, the only way the Best Actress race could change at this point is if Gaga wins BAFTAs. Olivia winning wouldn’t mean a thing because we all know she’s going to anyways. She’s British. But Gaga winning the award would mean the race is up in the air again. This is of course very unlikely to happen. I have Gaga’s chances of winning at 3/5 but you never know. Best Original Song is where we should be putting our money tho. But contrary to what most people think, I don’t think is a lock. It SHOULD be a lock by now and Shallow is definitely the front runner. REALITY 77,430 Posted January 29, 2019 Share Posted January 29, 2019 I don't like to say that any one person is a "lock" just because I think that these awards can be so unpredictable sometimes, but that said, even if Gaga wins the BAFTAs, I still see the Oscar going to Glenn. Glenn's built up so much momentum since the Golden Globes that to lose it all now would be a real shame for her. Plus, Glenn is a phenomenal actress who definitely deserves an Oscar.
