Recreating the Shallow Scene for the Oscars

It would be too cringey. It's the Oscars after all, not the VMAs. A more mature and simple performance would be expected. Otherwise it'll look like a performance for the Tony's with all the acting and the recreation of the scene. All they need is Bradley on the guitar, Gaga on the piano, the Oscars orchestra accompanying them and a beautiful background.

You know, you are the 2nd or 3rd person to suggest this idea, and I really don't understand why someone would want them to attempt to recreate one-time magic! First of all, the moment in the movie is so emotional and special that it would be impossible to recreate it the same way. It would flop by comparison pretty much no matter what. Trying to be something else never works out as well as letting something be itself. ;) Plus, why wouldn't you want potential new looks, new phrasing, new instrumentation, etc? Yas! :firega: Why would the same version twice in a row be better than that?
