Glad to see so many Gaga critics here stanning Ari because they are not satisfied with Gaga's vision of her career. :ohwell: Guess people can't read that this is GagaDaily

Get out of here if you don’t understand that this is the entertainment section on a pop forum

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

When will we stop congratulating artists for being successful and start congratulating them for releasing quality stuff? The first doesn't depend on you, it's not your merit.

But who decides what’s quality and what’s not quality?

7 Rings, I agree is no where near one of her best songs, but I still prefer it over most of the other songs to go number 1 in the past couple of years.

Thank You Next imo is an amazing song, and up there with her best songs.

Music is subjective and up to the listener to decide whether they like it or not, so there’s really no saying what’s quality vs what’s not.

True, music is subjective. However this has nothing to do with my point.

I said congratulating someone for being successful is pointless since that doesn't depend on them and is not their merit. If you think 7 rings is up to you and congratulate Ariana for recording/ releasing it but not for it having success.

I think TUN and 7 Ring are as good as Post Malone/ XXXtentacion etc songs. I prefer female music but I gotta be obiective here.

Even if you didn't mean to act like you're better than others, but it did come across like that in your post.

Sorry if I'm wrong

All I'm saying is people have preference tho, doesn't mean our liking is better than theirs.

You're totally missing the point; I'm not talking about comparing tastes in music. I'm saying it is a fact that these songs were crafted specifically for the top 10. Take it or leave it for what it is.

So, for example, if Gaga got her first Hot 100 #1 in eight years, you wouldn’t congratulate her or show pride in her?

OT: I have updated the OP with Billboard confirmation
