Schwerk 7,252
The Fame - 23 Perfect soundtrack before going to parties. Big admirer, not a true fan yet. The Fame Monster - 24 Still my fav. Dance in the dark spoke to me and the sound of the whole record reminded me of the 90s pop and house music I grew up on like Leila K, Magic Affair, Ace of Bace, 2 brothers on the 4th floor etc. Born This Way - 26 Took me back to my childhood with lyrics of songs like BTW, Hair and Bad Kids. Reminds me of growing up with 80's powerballads blasting, the rock infused pop with strong female vocals and the mystery that still surrounded artists at that time. Reminds me of wanting to enter a lipsync contest doing Tina Turner or Cyndi Lauper and having no idea what they looked like before mom took me to the CD store to look at their album covers. ARTPOP - 28 Never completely fullfilled my longing for Gaga to release a completely experimental creative out of the box conceptual album. Do love it a lot. Does remind me of the tough times she went through and how I used to worry about her quite a bit. Not a fun time in my own life either. Cheek to Cheek - 29 Like a ray of light. Love the pure joy and musicality and friendship of this album. It's like a cozy blanket and it revoked my love for jazz. Joanne - 31 This became the soundtrack to my day to day life. I didn't even play it that often because the songs were stuck in my head all the time. A Star is Born - 33 Saw the film in the theatre 5 times and didn't really want to listen to the music again till I saw the movie again, it made me look forward to seeing the film again more so I could hear the songs again. Silly I know. Makes me happy people embraced this music so much that she's actually charting again. Now that I think about it, I can tell Gaga and I are only a year apart. She seems to grow and flow with me in a way and her childhood and teenage influences really speak to me too. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I am doing a mini science experiment to see if there is any trend on your age vs the album you most stan. Also feel free to throw in your memories from the era as that will vary by age as well. Kind of interesting! TF: 16- 11th grade. Everyone in school was obsessed with Poker Face but didn't know the legend that would jump out over the next year. I remember everyone thinking she was weird but edgy and being hooked on her music. She got talked about A LOT at school because of how fresh she was. (Winner) TFM: 17- 12th grade. My favorite year in school and my favorite album/era for Gaga literally the perfect age to witness this ERA. She was our pop girl. BTW: 19- Summer between freshman and sophomore year of college. This album made such a fun summer it was everywhere. ARTPOP: 21- Senior year of college. We all know how this went but I stan now (took me awhile) C2C: 22 Joanne: 24 ASIB: 26 We must be the same age so I won’t bother filling this out too lol. Like I even agree with it all. Spencer Pratt 57
The Fame: I was 8 years old; I heard about this weird new singer called "Lady Gaga" and thought she was interesting. I officially started stanning when Love Game started playing on the radio and made my dad get me her album. It's crazy to think how young I actually was. The Fame Monster: I was 9 years old. I got an iPod touch and an iTunes gift card and the first song I bought was Bad Romance. Then I saw the CD at the store and thought the cover looked scary. When I first saw the full Telephone video on TV, I was shook, the months after its release were definitely the peak of me being obsessed with her as an artist. I thought she was the edgiest and coolest thing to happen to planet earth and started buying every magazine that mentioned her. Born This Way: I was 11 years old and had sort of forgotten about her but still bought the album, I didn't like the aesthetic of and her look during the era and didn't really get into the album itself either. I just roughly followed what she was doing through magazines. AY-AR-TEE-PEE-OH-PEE: I was 13 years old. I listened to the Aura/Burqa leak when it came out, it grew on me very quickly. I loved the G.U.Y. snippet and it made me very excited for the album; it was just my kind of music. I bought three copies and grew creepily obsessed with the album, it was pretty much all I listened to until about summer of 2014. To this day, I listen to it all the time and it's probably still my favorite album by any artist. I love everything about it. Cheek To Cheek: I was 14. I listened to it a couple of times and liked it, but would have preferred her to have released Vol. II. Joanne: I was 16 years old and had to force myself to listen to the album a few times to try and have it grow on me. It never worked, half the songs sounded like elevator music to me. The only okay-ish (a.k.a. not excruciatingly boring) songs were and still are A-YO and Come to Mama. A Star Is Born: This forum and youtube ads are the only reason I know it exists, I've never watched the movie nor do I know what it's about. I've never heard the soundtrack.
