Ariana is making songs about how she “learns” from her exes and how she can buy diamonds for her bitches. Meanwhile Gaga, at the peak of her popularity, did Born This Way and that song/album saved LIVES. Born This Way is that. It’s not Sweetener, something to be thrown away for another big hit, it’s using music for meaningful stuff.

So don’t go around calling Gaga unsucessful and high, like she was some kind of mess. Especially not while comparing her to Ariana.

Ok, you’re being extremely defensive. Me stating she was high and not doing sucessful in the eyes of the GP at the time is a fact not an insult. This thread is turning into a huge mess, it was made to show the similarities of the style/music both of them shared at separate times of their career, but instead everyone is pretending they’re not similar in the slightest. I’m not bashing either one. I love Ariana and I love Gaga.

If we’re comparing them on ages Ari is waaaaay behind Gaga and what she had achieved by 25/26. I also think Ari’s output is nowhere near the level of Gaga’s back then either, even something simple like perfume was turned into a massive deal like it was a movie or something.

Choose nicer words when stating “the only difference” () between them if you don’t want people to get defensive.
