Can’t wait for all the Millennials, of witch I’m one, to jump on board and bombard everyone with posts about how great Bernie is, while simultaneously not registering to vote or actually doing anything productive. Can’t wait to see how great this turns out Please don’t have the audacity to come here and talk about young people not being productive when you gave us Clinton and lost to Trump. And will lose again by choosing another moderate corporate democrat. Give me a break.

Also, Beto is a better fundraiser and won't take PAC money (like Sanders). He's potentially better than even Obama, so there's that. Bernie lost the 2016 primary by millions of votes, NOT just by superdelegates. And there lies the problem with democrats. You vote party over policies. I’m sure you’ll do as great as the 2016 election in 2020. Good luck.

They're one of those centrist cultists and they've spent the last several years bashing Bernie on here every chance they got. I mean, the arguments they listed in the response you quoted are either nonsensical or easily debunked. They don't care. They're not arguing in good faith. That's irrelevant. AOC is popular and proposing popular policies (an overwhelming majority of the country supports her 70% tax on the wealthy, including a huge number of Republicans). I don't understand how anyone could see what's happened with her and think that her approach is a problem. I'd have her run for president over anyone else, if she were old enough. Again, Beto votes with Trump 1/3rd of the time while living in a safe district. He didn't have to vote for bills that facilitate Trump's immigration agenda and prop up the fossil fuel industry when we're a couple of decades from global catastrophe from climate change; he chose to. Even if none of that were true, Bernie outpolls him. You're talking about horserace guesstimates about who would appeal to which demographic as a reason to vote for Beto when 1) Bernie outpolls him, 2) Bernie has consistently been polled as the most popular active politician in the country for the last four years, despite constant Republican attacks and 3) Bernie or Beto would both wipe the floor with Trump. They outpoll Hillary's average polling numbers against Trump by double digits. Policy is what matters now. Your priorities are off. Policy is literally the most important thing. Bernie crushes Beto on policy. His record is better. His policy proposals are better. The end. I get what you’re saying but will it translate into votes? No matter how much better anyone thinks Bernie is if people don’t vote for himit doesn’t matter. The DNC loyalists aren’t too happy with him after 2016. As for policy, Beto and Bernie are good with me. If anything, Bernie has pushed Dems more to the left. It says something about the candidates running that we’re here discussing 2 people who haven’t even announced they are running lmfao.

It's important to stress that Beto is to the right of most Democrats in Congress, though, so I don't see him as a progressive candidate at all. The DNC loyalists you're talking about are loud on Twitter, but they comprise a minuscule portion of the Democratic party's voter base. Only 4% strongly dislike him. He's popular with over 80% of the party. The bots are are irrelevant.

I want a president that will actually fight for marginalized people, fight against climate change, fight to get us out of the Middle East we destroyed, and has the best record of all of the potential candidates.. That's Bernie.

Therein lies the problem of Bernie Sanders and it is why he will never be president of the United States.
