Kamala Harris is a cop with a record of locking up young black men and attempting to jail the disenfranchised parents of truant school children. There's so much to criticize her for. Best record, best policy proposals, most popular active politician in the country. He's only divisive for the 8% of the Democratic party that don't like him. He crushes Trump by double digits in poll after poll after poll, significantly more than Clinton ever did. I wanted AOC to run, but she's too young. Bernie's the best we've got, like it or not. Obama came out of nowhere in 2007/08 though. And to say that Bernie is the best before we even get to hear 20 or so Dems battle it out for the people's vote is a bit premature. Bernie has great ideas, but do they work? Because I've heard good and bad things about his policies that he's tried to get going. I DO think, however, that he's good for the young vote. And that's the demographic that Dems need to get in 2020. And in terms of polling, I agree. He does poll pretty well. I believe I saw him beating Trump in States like Utah and Montana back in 2016, but that was before Bernie even got the chance to go head to head with Trump. Republicans would tear Bernie's policies apart. They'll use the socialism trigger to scare half the country. And we've seen that that type of rhetoric works. I do agree that Bernie is a great candidate. He does have a great track record for standing up for the oppressed. But personally, I just want to see more people get into the race before I rush to conclusions much like how Democrats rushed to vote for Hillary.
