SamJ 8,008 Posted January 26, 2019 Share Posted January 26, 2019 I feel like Ava has more similarities to Xtina, she has some sass and she likes to focus on the melody of the song before developing the rest of it. Sweet But Psycho reminds me of Genie In A Bottle with the soaring melodies really making both feel fresh at the time. Ava seems to love making songs with great rhythmic flow like with Make Up and Let It Be Me (i know they are both features but lets be honest, she carries these songs) the stand out feature of these songs is the insanely catchy rhythm. Its like she wants everyone to hum her tunes constantly. Also My Way has a really cool instrumental which is really memorable. I do see comparisons with Gaga and Ava, especially TFM Gaga because songs like Alejandro and Bad Romance with the woooooaaaah part have insanely catchy instrumentals. I'm just really excited by her, i dont get the hate. Song is a tragic rip off of Gaga's 2009 sound, she has literally no stage presence... literally a more boring version of Dua Lipa.
