But did any of those have meaning or did she just do those things for the hell of it? :ohwell:

Does it have to have meaning? Does every single pop artist have to draw from great literature or be on the cusp of a new innovative discovery with every artwork they make? Gaga certainly doesn’t, so why do we hold that standard to others :air:

Its a simple album cover, it isn’t even remarkable enough to have an opinion on, but yet people gonna act like she just dropped the most mediocre visual of pop music :neyde:

Chromatic

If it wasn't because of her young age and early success, people wouldn't be so blind to realize how distasteful this truly is.

picture of her ass,    Her head pasted onto a motorcycle, a picture of a laptop screen, and a side profile of her standing against a wall

The ass cover is iconic honey

The motorcycle one is tragic, yet iconic too

The laptop screen one is truly something else, she wasn't even trying

The Joanne cover fits with the album aesthetic

GGD looking for innovation in album artwork of all things when Gaga’s imagery contains, but is not limited to, a picture of her ass,    Her head pasted onto a motorcycle, a picture of a laptop screen, and a side profile of her standing against a wall

Gaga still gets dragged for those so :ladyhaha:

Imma get this on CD when it comes out, I never got Sweetener since I only liked a few of the songs and the cover was only okay but this cover is everything. And the songs are so much better than Sweetener

The difference is that all those covers are different and nothing alike while Ariana keeps doing the same while talking about being innovative (?

I'm on about the list of the Gaga images. She explained the meaning of the motorcycle, for example. I'm just saying that they were stupid examples because they aren't just a picture to look at. Gaga has explained the meaning behind why she chose some of those images. I hold that standard to Gaga because she's an artist and don't hold that standard to others because they are just pop stars imo.

Does this album cover not fit with the aesthetic of TUN, in your opinion? If not, suggest how this could’ve been better executed.

Give us a concept dahling, don’t forget to make it innovative and unlike anything that’s ever been done before. Cuz that’s our standard after all  :ladyhaha:
