If she genuinely says she's tired of pop and pop music then I'd understand the sentiment (I would be disheartened as well), but she hasn't. And I doubt she will. I do agree that things have changed, especially in how she conducts herself and music, but her love for the different music genres is not changed. I have yet to see any concrete evidence of this. Sorry. I'm here for something that would proves me wrong .. I love her so much . U knew we used to have a cult of maybe 300 little monsters in tunisia .. All of them disappeared.. Seeka 12,372
Anisko, from what I've read you're expecting multiple things to happen. Gaga is never going to do pop music again. But if she does, your pinning all your hopes onto her because you've given hope on the scene. Dood, go get a life. That is the nicest thing I can say. Focus on music outside of pop. Or smaller indie artists. If you adored Gaga for showmanship go to burlesque and drag shows. Maybe find a new love. Like videogame osts.

Maybe interscope is forcing her to make another "pop" album .. I adore gaga and i've been here since the beginning and trust me there's something changed about her .. I respect her versatility and i'm here for it to parallel with her being the lady gaga we all love. I still don’t see what you mean by pop album. If you’re gonna discard Joanne as one you should discard ARTPOP and BTW as well. Joanne is a country influenced pop album, just like ARTPOP is an EDM influenced pop album, and BTW is an 80’s pop/rock influenced pop album. All of her solo albums have been, as a whole, pop albums. She’s said so herself. The only difference with ASIB is that she had to distinctively separate pop and other genres to help give a story. Gaga doesn’t hate pop and she’s never left it in her solo career.

As someone else suggested, explore some other music in the meantime. Other artists, other sounds in the meantime. We're all LG stans here, or else we wouldn't be on this site, so I understand where you're coming from, but don't take these things too personally and put your entire emotional psyche into one human. Most of her albums are 80% electro dance music melted with a genre to make it unique.. only joanne is 80% country music with a pinch of electro from bloodpop to make sound little bit modern .. Joanne is my fav album but right now i'm here for the old school gaga.

JoanneMonster 9,028
look at the monster ball, she doesnt look happy singing pop songs, because the attitude is different. You can't be a bad b^tch and smile at the audience while singing Aura. She looked happy on the jazz show bc she is just singing around and she doesn't need to put the attitude that's needed for a pop show. If Gaga showed up with jazz attitude to ENIGMA y'all would drag her for it, You may not like ENIGMA bc you are tired of always hearing the same songs (which i understand) but when she releases a new album with new songs and visuals you'll see how gaga's still there I See You
MrDarkGa 311
I agree. She seemed a LOT happier last night. I also firmly believe that we are getting a LOT more Stefani Germanotta these days than Lady Gaga (in before the snooty, snide comment pointing out they're one in the same). I think she seems to be getting a bit more 'done' with the style and persona she was known for in her first 5 years as time goes on and I think her new form of "Gaga" is that she is going back to who she was pre-fame: i.e. the sound and vibe that she was playing in bars and having her piano by her side and becoming a highly respected and decorated performa. I don't wanna see her in 20 years pulling a "Bitch I'm Madonna" stunt to stay relevant with the current trends so I agree with another post saying that her Ballad/Jazz era is coming and that it will be staying. I want to see her mature in the best possible way and not become a caricature or shadow of her younger self a'la Baby Jane Hudson. I believe that ARTPOP being lackluster in its execution (DO NOT try to defend it she was literally a split end away from quitting music altogether) leading to the image overhaul was the best thing she could have done. It bugs **** out of me when people here cry out in their drones for another Fame Monster or ARTPOP Act 2 when she is literally known and praised for constant reinvention. If she was to go backwards in new releases or stay using the same sounds to please fans, Madonna would have been 100% correct calling her reductive. Her Jazz collab, Joanne and her venturing into acting is, IMO, some of her most Gaga work to date because I never expected it. I would also live and die for a metal album soooooo much. Gaga and her label have all called Joanne pop and she cried after performing MR for the first time because she was so happy to put out a pop record after so long. All songs have a pop structure. Just because something is not electronic dance music doesn't make it non-pop. Joanne is FAR from being 80% country. It's more like 20%. Just very indie and alt too. K, I wasnt going to say anything because all of these types of threads are completely pointless, it's just post after post of speculations till everyone gets bored and moves on to the same subject in a different thread, but can we PLEASE stop this stupid narrative of only her "rich fans" being able to go to Enigma? I am FAR from rich. I dont live in Vegas, and I would never spend the type of money I am for anyone else. But I am using my credit card, going into glorious debt, and having the time of my life in Vegas for a few days because I've never been able to see Gaga live, despite years of trying. I've never even gone on a vacation longer than a night at the beach. For me, because I dont typically have the money, this is a once in a life time experience that I am so excited for. I'm excited to see her hits, because I've never been able to see them live, just as much as I'm excited to see Dance in the Dark. So please, please stop painting this as something only the richest Gaga stans can do.
