I know MR is a thing and Joanne was moderately successful but, it was Joanne, let’s face. it was the most distant she’s ever been from the traditionally known and loved “Lady Gaga”. should her, instead, be focusing on her next release? by releasing this year she’s already looking to clash head to head with some of the biggest names like Ariana, Madonna and Rihanna, to mention only a few. so yeah, how do you guys think she’ll do? and was Enigma a mistake? As much as I love it, I’m afraid I’ll have to answer yes to this question. It’s superfluous in my humble opinion. discuss In my opinion Enigma wasn't needed, she gains nothing but money and it couldn't have come at a worst time. She's had so much success with A Star Is Born and after award season would be so perfect to release new stuff but Enigma will hinder this, she won't be able to properly promote her new material, even though she has gaps where she doesn't do shows it wouldn't be viable. Which sort of leaves her career in a Juxtaposition, after award season things will sort be be dead with no progress being made, just her doing a show that is (sorry) old and dated show and as a Gaga super fan, I have no interest in seeing AT ALL. I think it looks fun but not worth that amount of money. If you think about it ARTPOP was her last genuine pop album, Joanne is nice but not what we wanted lets be fair. The more time goes on I feel like ARTPOP was her last hurrah, and I even thought that at the time, it's like she went from pop to POP! if that makes sense. I know many people will say "Gaga didn't promise you anything blahhhh blahhhh blahhhh!! but we are allowed to want new music. I am so bored of this era, Gaga is just too pedestrian for me at the moment, Enigma is cool cause it has the same Gaga energy of her old stuff but it's just stagnant. Maybe she should’ve tackled only one show instead of doing two spreading herself thin, I like the concept of Enigma but I think with more planning and money it would have been better.
