It's also not a sign of a lack of anger. You can be outraged by the actions of this administration without stooping to their level of discourse. It should go without saying that you can be outraged by the actions of Trump without hoping he dies. And even though you are defending an individual who is hoping an over weight person dies of a heart attack, rather than the of the person who is just asking for a little civility, the thing you are most wrong about is your hatred of couscous. It's so nice they literally named it twice. Consider your carb carping reported. Is there different types of couscous? Because everytime I had it it tasted musky... idk. But like I said, I don't compare someone saying Nazis should die to Nazis saying I should die. Sure, there's an argument saying that I shouldn't stoop to their level, but where the real threat? The Nazis. If someone's feelings are hurt because I don't like Nazis then that's their issue. I don't want to defend someone who says that Trump should have a heart attack, but I can at least see the bigger picture and why there is such a reaction. However, most people just want Trump out of office. A few people wishing death upon Trump is nothing compared to what he has released upon the world. He goes on and on every day of the week. I would never compare the impact Trump's comments have on our culture to the impact a comment made by a user on this site has on our culture. I was comparing the similarity of tone and incivility. I think we can do better than to laugh with someone when they hope an obese man dies from his McDonalds dinner. But maybe we can't. And couscous is basically pasta, so there is no reason for it to be musky.

Your original post was Trumpian, as was the caps lock reply. That was my only point - sometimes we accidently become what we loath. If you think my low key edgy post an obscure Internet forum for a US pop diva is on the same level as Trump’s daily degradation of our costums and norms... Get a grip sis Com·pare (verb) - point out the resemblances to; liken to. Your post certainly wasn't comparable to Trump's tweets in terms of impact. However in terms of childishness and incivility, they are comparable. Like when he called a former Miss Universe "Miss Piggy" who "could eat the whole gymnasium." Like when he called Rosie O'Donnell a "fat pig." When he told Chris Christie he wasn't allowed to eat any more Oreos. Like when he made comments about the weight of Paul LePage and his own wife. Like when he joked about the weight of a protester at one of his rallies. If you want to emulate Trump's nastiness, be my guest. I just thought you should be made aware of how similar to him it makes you appear, and what a disservice it does to causes you are advocating for. Do you think if Trump gained enough weight he’d be unable to fit through the doors leading into the Oval Office? And how’s the weather up there on your high horse? Civility has been dead for years. If you keep playing by the rules of the old guard, you’re going to keep losing. Hope you had a good night, enjoy your weekend 🤗
