I find the whales noises in The Cure cringey as ****, and if it isn't for the lyrics that song it trash. What's well thought out about rihanna twerking on a chair and then twerking in a club and grinding on drake? and I'm sure she has more videos like this. The impetus is placed on the verses. I think it's catch-22 because for us pop fans we don't like it because the chorus is too trap/hip hop, but that's the whole point of it....she's trying to make something current and popular but not lose her pop fans (the verses).
