TropicOfCANCER 6,292
yes, except it's not really mainstream popular, so it's hard to even call it a fad. it's been trying to be a thing for years, but it's never really taken off except for the occasional song here or there doing well. Antichrist 9,818
to each his own, everyone listens to whatever they want & like, i used to stan kpop, but when you realize that these people are literally machines made to bring in money in all ways possible, it loses it's charm, and the music is... well... meh. the lyrics are... god-forbid horrible, in a sense that 99 out of 100 songs talk about the same thing, which is usually the innocence of falling in love now don't get me wrong, i'm not saying other music industries are any better, but kpop in particular is just a mess. Seeka 12,372
Not really. It's just that it's more popular in certain circles than others. Not to mention it's been a music genre growing in fans since 2010. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you can dismiss it as a fad. Let people enjoy what they do. Though the Korean music industry needs to get it's **** together. Stop treating it's artists like crap.
