DiamondAngel 5,044
I despise RnB. I love most genres of music (even rap, which a lot of you guys hate) but can't stand RnB. That being said, a lot of people say DWUW has elements of RnB, and if that's the case, then maybe a pop-RnB hybrid would be good - DWUW is one of my favorite songs. What are other examples of pop/RnB?

2School4Cool 6,449
I chose rock, but not straight up hard-rock. If anything I would want pop with the rock influences like the BTW album had on some songs, or maybe like Perfect Illusion with a rock influence but not full on rock. I just hope she doesn’t do the modern R&B sound that’s very popular right now, I would prefer a more old-school R&B. Whatever she gives us I’m sure I’ll love, whatever genre it is she’ll do it in her own unique way. I mean I never used to like electronic music at all, and Gaga taught me to love it, so I’m open to whatever she gives us. JustAnother 5,113
Rock just lets her vocals shine the best. RnB is cute and I’m glad she’s dabbled in that but when she sings rock with that soulful twist, it’s amazing.

What are other examples of pop/RnB? DWUW is like... a VERY R&B song. Think of her melismas and riffs throughout. "huhhhuuuuuhhhuhuhuh yeaah-ee-yeahh" It's a very R&B style. TheSlash 14,539
Neither . I want something SOPHIE-esque avantgarde pop, so my ears can be f***ed by the bass just as Ponyboy and Faceshopping did Ew, David!
