Honestly, I doubt they are aware of the whole homophobia thing.... Also conversiom therapy is leaning more towards ignorance than hate, after all they believe they're helping someone.

Obviously I'm 100% against it, and I know it is traumatic for people under this """treatment""". But it's still their belief, like creationism... I'm just trying to be objectice here.

I think if people CHOOSE to try that "therapy" then more power to them. The problem is when they are forced or demanded to do it.

It's all sad. You can do everything under the sun to change yourself but the day will come when you will have to accept yourself and once you do, the weight lifted is amazing.

If Pratt were home of phobic why would he take a picture with a gay icon?

I disagree with what you said about conversion therapy. I know some people who were forced into it by their religious parents and they have cited the experience as very aggressively homophobic and that the "therapists" are fully aware they're being paid to psychologically break and scar people. According to them,. it was essentially set up as a bootcamp of never-ending gay bashing and brain washing.

Hearing that, it must be beyond awful. I wish one day this will all be over.

noah fence but I tend to expect the worst from christians/churches so this isn't that surprising, I don't think those celebs are homophobic though, I think they're either just clueless to the church's history or too blinded by faith to do anything about it
