That's because the rights to streaming movies and tv is negotiated on a country by country basis. :)

For the increase in price their content needs to be much much better! Otherwise, it's just for the sake of brand recognition

Netflix is already cheap In relation to what u get

I mean it's still cheaper than cable, which is ridiculously high here. I believe the prices already increased in Canada at the beginning of the year.

I would never pay for Netflix since the content isn't that great in Canada so I've been using my cousins login since 5F2 came out :laughga:

I can't believe the hate for Friends.  I know some people didn't like it, but jeez. It's one of my favorites.

Didn't they raise their prices last year? Or was it the discussion of this that I'm remembering? I have Netflix and Hulu live and it's still cheaper than cable.

Birdbox wasn't even that good. But I've discovered a lot of exclusive Netflix content recently. That documentary about the Rah Rah girl probably cost them a lot too.

Netflix has really been slacking lately

They really haven't been offering anything good lately.

I find myself watching Hulu WAY more now

Europe will follow next. I’m fine with a small raise but they should step up their game here. Lots of shows that are still not accessible while they have already bought the rights elsewhere. For example I was on vacation in italy and they had supernatural, AHS and modern family. They should be consistent in europe as a whole.

They are almost releasing 2 series (seasons) per month for their global subscribers. I've watch a Norwegian, a Danish, an Italian, a Spanish, a Mexican series. Not to mention all the US content. This has to be a joke :laughga: Otherwise, what I understand is that you want netflix non-originals to be available "sooner" in Netflix? You need to remember that the future for Netflix its their own productions.
