Well yes that’s what happens when most people in a country are European and begin teaching history. I think America is becoming a lot more global with it’s teachings now however, even my Global Art History teacher talked about how a few years ago only like 50/250 works were not European/American but in my class it was about 125 non-European works (obviously that’s still not proportionally correct but a huge step forward in my opinion).

They were also doubtful when they cast Gaga in A Star Is Born, look how the tables have turned.

I encourage the studios to greenlit the project if her audition or screentest goes well. It is the studio who has seen her act after all, not the fans.

A quick Google search said that while cleopatra may not be as stunning as she was famed to be,  (as can be seen from this silver coin issued 2,000 years ago) 

It was her charm,  wit and political affiliations to Caesar and mark Anthony that made her more attractive. I believe it was her character and knowledge that made her stand out.  

But our girl got a nose close to that.  Give the role to Gaga.  

But i also like Angie so whatever
