Is Gaga Past Prime?

Twitter

Featured Posts

Her talent, vocals, and work ethic are still there. The critics and paparazzi are still keeping tabs. The SuperBowl Halftime Show was critically acclaimed. Her recent film ASIB is a mega success and so is the soundtrack. And she remains one of the top b*tches in music for ten years.

So is Gaga past her prime or do you think with ASIB this is a second wave? Thoughts?

She hasn't lost anything of what made her special and she's shown she's still able to have major success so no.

Her music prime is behind us. Her acting prime is still ahead of us. Her Amazon Prime membership is expired.

I doubt her music prime is behind us, especially if you don’t consider modern pop as the pinnacle of music quality.

I think LG6 will tell us if she should take the acting direction.

She can do both. She is not going to stop singing even if LG6 won't be a major success

ASIB has a lot of her best music imo...

I agree the ASIB soundtrack proves her music prime is still there. But I think @PunkTheFunk is saying musical prime with delivering another Bad Romance or Poker Face to alter the direction in pop music.

At least we know that she has no problem with Christian's Optimus Prime

What in the world about the past few months would make anyone think she's past her prime? People have been bringing this subject up since ARTPOP, but the bitch perseveres.

Not bc of success but because of reception and quality. I think it will be amazing tho.

Because since 2013, people think Gaga’s prime ended in 2011. Mainly her prime in delivering back-to-back hit singles and having a dynamic impact in music.

She has not past her prime but she has past her 30 that's for sure. She can't deliver the same thing of ten years ago. What she has accomplished in the first year of her career probably has never happened to any artist. That instant stardom

She can deliver good music even better than her first songs. But not that kind of magic around her because this could happen only when a star was born
