TBH, I think there wouldn't even be a huge issue if it was just singing along (although she should be aware of the reaction considering she is in the public eye) but the issue, I think, is the fact that she called him out specifically. She obviously knows what's going on, so this just kinda shows me she wanted the headlines.

Of course it was her... by listening to his music & then uploading a video singing along to it she is showing support whether she intended to or not. When you’re a celeb, putting your face on anything publicly is endorsement & listening to his songs gets him paid. So it does come down to morals, how could someone listen & support his “art” while knowing the type of person he is?

Listening to his music is supporting him whether you like it or not. He gets paid everytime you stream his music & if you’re not streaming then you either bought it or downloaded it illegally. Not to mention, his songs are based on his personal beliefs & the type of sex he has, so it’s impossible to listen to his music without supporting him & his message.

I'm not trying to be sassy, but this topic has given me a headache.. I just hate the fact that people are so hypocrit. Everyone is blaming a person for just listening to someone else's music. This stuff only happens in 2018, this would never happen in 2008. Music is free, a form of art and you can like a song, without liking the person behind it. It makes me just sick that everyone is mad about such little things.

I don't like any song of R Kelly except DWUW, but it's just the principle behind it. I don't care if someone gets paid for the song I like, cuz I like the song... so they should get paid. I don't care really that someone is getting extra money, even if I don't like his/her. Those people have enough money, so my money for a few streams doesn't really make a difference. he's not getting poor after I'll just stop listening to his music, just for the sake of the artist being dumb.

Your principles are extremely questionable... it doesn’t matter how much money they make off of your single stream, the principal of the matter is that you support him & you’re basically saying you don’t care that he is a pedophile who has beat, brainwashed, & sexually abused countless woman of all ages, including 14 YEAR OLDS & probably younger... like how are you not disgusted? How do you not feel horrible while listening to his music knowing that he’s singing about his own sex life with underage girls? Listening to his music only shows him that what he’s doing is acceptable but if you’re ok with all of that then that’s on you.

My taste doesn't change based on what someone has done, music is a form of art and I really don't care what the artist has done. I enjoy the music and the form of art, Gaga is a different situation because she also inspires me in life, but idc what other artists do..  as long as they make good bops.

That's why I can also listen to Azaelia Banks.

I am disgusted, literally.. you should never do that and it's horrible what he's done.

But for me:
music and art I love > Uninteresting artist who accidentaly made that specific song/art.

It's like watching a painting in a museum from an artist who had slaves for example. If you really like the painting, you should buy the painting.. I won't not buy it just because it's from that person, no matter what he's done.
