Someone told me in 2016 they were voting for Hillary “Because she’s a woman” :selena:

That’s dumb imo

We need a straight white hyper-masculine, fairly young, handsome and cis-gender christian male to represent the democrats to pander to the republicans to win. :madge:

The fact people think this way is sad. We should vote For who we think would be the best president, not vote for one of these people out of fear of gop bigotry.

After what happened in 2016 can you blame us? We all know who would have been the better president and she didn't win.

While I agree sexism did take place in this election, I do think if a woman with less political baggage and better public communication was nominated, she probably would’ve won. She herself made some pretty glaring mistakes during the election as well. So in my view, we shouldn’t give up so easily on the notion that we can elect a woman president. I’ll probably end up voting for a woman this cycle myself if Bernie Sanders doesn’t throw his hat in the ring.

She won the popular vote... I’m pretty sure if sexism was a huge factor to her loss that wouldn’t have happened.

This. Our next president needs to be someone who we can trust and take seriously, regardless of gender.

So far it was gotten him into Stanford, Harvard, to be the mayor of San Antonio, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under the Obama admin.

His brother, his twin, is a Congressman who also went to Stanford and Harvard.

but where are they from?

Lest we forget a hefty part of this country supports a shutdown of the government over a made up crisis for a racist vanity project...

You’re talking about getting the average American to understand and vote ... so I kinda agree with the post you were quoting. :selena:

Lion Heart

I will try not to outright dismiss him but he has a large hole to climb out of + I feel like Beto took so much wind from him. What I find fascinating is all the closet racists coming out of the woodwork in his Twitter feed.
