I mean, I get that the video could have been misinterpreted, like, given all the allegations to R K, but she never meant it that way.

It's like, you cannot always know how people are gonna see your art, but you have to be wise about it.

Those were the times Gaga didn't gave a single f*** of what the world may have thought of her, and I loved it.

I personally don't care of the backlash it would recieve, if the world became too sensitive and wanna give everything a meaning so that it can be bashed, let'em do.

she genuinely cares about these big issues but generally doesn't care about what she could actually do to help fix them. Her issuing an apology saying that she's sorry means nothing.Especially when she has the financial and public influence to do so.

The issue isn't that she worked with R Kelly... the issue is that she worked with Kelly. its that she simultaneously supporting movements that socially shun rapists and sexually abusers. as opposed to realizing that the actual answer is for a reform of law which is where her economic and social influence could actually make a difference. but she's become so comfortable in selling her own trauma that it wouldn't work for her or that she maybe cant see any other way to help. so she should just.. chill. like gaga shouldn't of even had the opportunity to work with R. Kelly because he should literally be in prison lol.

Y'all begged for this video to be leaked for so many years, but aren't we all glad now that nothing ever did? :green:  It always looked like an inflammatory mess TBH. The only sad thing is that the fans who were in it never got their screen time.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I agree with some of what you said.

I'll point out though that Gaga has advocated for law to be changed including Don't Ask Don't Tell. That's just one example. She can't buy the law or the get too politically involved.

I'll also urge you to think beyond that. She has made a significant tangible impact just by educating people and starting conversation and much needed dialogue. I confronted my trauma because of TIHTY. That's how I became a fan. That's real, tangible impact. And it's not just me, it's thousands, if not millions like me, who are now motivated little monsters willing to inspire change in the world, culture, and law around us.

Sorry you feel that way if you do u can’t change that.. I can relate to her trauma but I’d also would’ve liked to be able to have achieved actual justice as opposed to carrying the weight of what happened and partaking in selling my story to”help others” because it doesn’t really solve any issues and not every woman who’s been raped can be rich or should have to identify as a victim. I may be jaded though. So I will take your comment into account. I’m sure Gaga is fine.

Yeah I’m talking about rape and sexual assault and exploitation not the ability to be gay in the military. It was a good cause but it’s not really a rape victims responsibility to share their story or out a rapist in a social sense. Sure I could out the person that sexually assaulted me socially but it wouldn’t make me any safer. especially with the laws we have and how the system treats victims. Yes victims shouldn’t be mocked or not believed but They should also be able to move past being a victim by achieving justice, getting affordable therapy, court orderd protections and serious investigation. Im saying that we should think for ourselves and draw our own conclusions. Lady Gaga isn’t going to save the world with a song. Till it happens to you was a good song but... it’s just a song? If it makes some feel better for a bit. Cool but it’s not actually changing anything. I’m not really a little monster and haven’t been since I was like 15 (I’m 21 now) but to identify as one is kind of... just branding. Lol

I feel like even discussing this is just enabling and motivating people to try and leak it. We shouldn’t give this song or cancelled video anymore attention.

Look up the Til It Happens To You era. she did the action way before the apology.

TMZ said they had the full thing, no? They’re too smiley to delete it. It’s held hostage out there. Somewhere. That’s not even taking into consideration it’s a digital copy. You know how easily they’re copied? It’s not that similar to the ET game. It’s a pre-internet thing mostly stored on physical cards, and yet there’s still gameplay of it out there

No worries with them, they are held hostages with a giant contract that if they break it they will get a giant lawsuit that can cause them bankrupt.. we are talking about Gaga, she has the best legal team.. TMZ had only "behind the scene" footage btw.
