It’s not like other celebrities. “Oh it’s just a song” It’s not just ANY song. It’s a song called “Do What U want (with my body)” And don’t need to tell me about how it has to do with the media and not actually physical. I know that. But the GP doesn’t. And honestly I wouldn’t care about the exact context if I weren’t her fan. I mean a song where the most repeated line is “Do what u want what u want with my body” can easily be interpreted negatively.” It also doesn’t help that she performed this WITH HIM MULTIPLE TIMES, each time extremely suggestive. Her other most known collaboration was with Beyonce and they never performed live together. So you could see how Gaga’s involvement went beyond “just recording a song” Then there’s the video fiasco, which I believe had it been officially released, would have ended Gaga for good. It was clear they were going for controversy. What kind of “attack on the media” theme has simulated drug rape scene?? That was so disgusting honestly. Thank god Gaga snapped out of it and shelved the damn thing in time. But I digress. The point is - her involvement with him is just too deep and disturbing, considering how she’s a known sexual harrassment survivor and activist for the cause. IT CANNOT BE EXCUSED. She needs to speak out. She obviously ignored the whole thing a few years back, but now, she’s had some time to reflect on it. And speaking out on it shows that she has matured and I cannot see what can go wrong for her image if she chooses to condemn him and acknowledge her mistake. If she doesn’t, on the other hand, she will be deemed a hypocrite and a coward. And while I won’t unstan her for it, I certainly will have less respect for her. She’s been so outspoken her entire career and she chooses this subject to say mum about?
