Firstly, I think it's one of the most candid she has ever been regards her engagement to Christian. She may not have revealed all that much, but even discussing their love and upcoming marriage is rare territory. I do think the interviewer slightly overstepped the mark, though, and I think Gaga felt the same. Secondly, and speaking of over-stepping the mark, the interviewer throws a Judy Garland look at Gaga and insists that she took inspiration from the dress. There's nothing wrong about the suggestion, but it's clear that Gaga had never seen the dress before... and it made for, I think, quite an awkward and unnecessary moment. It felt like the journalist didn't let it go either. The Judy Garland / Gaga dress comparisons: Spoiler In truth, I find it astonishing that Gaga's designers weren't aware of this similarity. And had they been, Gaga should've been in-on-the-know, as it could've been a bolder moment of referencing. I mean, it's even an ASIB premiere dress that Judy is wearing. The reference made me love the outfit even more, but now that I know this was an accident, I feel so conflicted Like... I wish that it had been a calculated thing, but on the other hand, it shows how cosmos works in strange ways, it's pretty poetic. Maybe he was trying to make it look intentional. Since so many were saying it he probably wanted to be like, oh good comparison, let’s go with it. She said it made her night And did anyone else notice the 2010/11 Gaga jumped out at 3:25?? That caught me off guard. "Sorry, my lips are sealed" and the way she throws her head back.
