PunkTheFunk 124,530
Yes, I know, you're upset. I am too. It's pretty much over for Gaga's Best Actress chances at the Oscars If you look at the chart I made below for a previous thread, in the past 18 years only 2 actresses have managed to win an Oscar without winning a Golden Globe (Halle Berry and Julianne Moore). **Jennifer Lawrence actually won a comedy/musical Globe in the year she won an Oscar -- that's an error on my part. **Marion Cotillard won a Globe for La Vie En Rose. Whoops.**OMG Reese Witherspoon won a Globe too. Sorry guys. The level of unprofessionalism -- far too much I think I was on something when I made this. Unless Gaga manages to pull off a miraculous win at the Critic's Choice and SAG awards, it appears to be the end of the road. But please look at the bright side! Gaga is still a Golden Globe winning actress! No one can ever take that away from her! Gaga STILL won a Golden Globe tonight! She is now a 3-time nominee, 2-time winner! The international implications that that has! Gaga managed to rake in nominations and wins from several other awards as a first-time lead film actress for a movie most of us thought would flop. That's incredible! Gaga can still be nominated for a Best Actress Oscar. Not everybody has that! Gaga can still win big at the Grammy's next month! Fantastic! Gaga can still win an Oscar for The Shallow! Talent Always Wins! Now wipe up those tears and keep those Alejandro candles burning! Awards season has just begun! Spoiler While you guys are here please participate in my rate

Neight Shayde 7,925
She will get nominated, but she won't win. Everyone's either for Olivia Colman or Glenn Close right now and I don't think that's gonna change

elijahfan 26,484
Marion Cotillard did win a comedy/musical Globe as well for La Vie en Rose - had to check out, because I seemed to remember she had basically won everything that year, so I was surprised by what the OP stated

REALITY 77,427
I'm actually surprised to see that a lot of people are more positive than I thought would be. Everyone's disappointed sure, but other than the vocal minority, I feel like a lot of people are actually somewhat 'okay', and at the very least are respecting Close's and Malek's (but maybe not BR over ASIB) wins. No matter what happens, I'm just immensely proud of Gaga and Bradley 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔲𝔰𝔦𝔠'𝔰 𝔤𝔬𝔫𝔫𝔞 𝔟𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔤 𝔪𝔢 𝔟𝔞𝔠𝔨 𝔣𝔯𝔬𝔪 𝔡𝔢𝔞𝔱𝔥
