Zander 14,911 Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 I never would have expected the amount of acclaim and praise she'd be getting for her first film role let alone all the nominations she's got and awards she's won. To be nominated in a best actress category with those other actresses is pretty huge, in my opinion. Especially with a legend like GC. Even if she does get an Oscars nomination to be an "Oscar nominated actress" is a HUGE deal, especially for someone where acting isn't what she's built her career on. So don't be disappointed, be proud, because our girl has done good and surprised A LOT of people with this film. And for Bradley, for his film as a director to gross the amount it has AND be praised like its has been is pretty amazing. Whether they don't win anymore awards or do this film has been a success.
