MEM 3,114
I was so sure she worked out her Vegas dates around awards season, but I’ve just realized she has ENIGMA show on the 26th (Sat), the SAGs are 27th (Sun) and then back to Vegas the 31st. Sure it’s only an hour flight to LA and back but isn’t that cutting it a bit close? I really want her to go to the Screen Actors Guild because it’s peer-voted and I feel that this is the other Best Actress Award she’s capable of getting (Oscars usually prefer an obscure performance, they honestly disappoint me every year). Also, the SAG Awards have the Best Ensemble category and no cast deserves it more than ASIB! Such equally strong performances and great chemistry between all of them. I’d hate for Gaga not to be on stage with them if they win that. LMs going to ENIGMA on the 26th, don’t make her too tired okay? We need her in LA in the next 12 hours
Thomas P 18,479
She’s going. If she doesn’t go then say goodbye to the Oscar I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
LaLa 19,704
I would be VERY surprised if she didn't go. SAG is a big deal, I'm sure she'll make it work.

Sneaky Oliver 22,235
What it feels like to be Gaga right now: having to choose a gown for every award show she’s attending
Rio 5,088
SAG is probably one of the most important, if not, the most important precursor award event to the Oscars. I’d be shocked if she doesn’t attend. If she wants any shot at the Oscars, she’ll attend. Hopefully her body can handle that tight schedule though. I also feel this SAG Best Actress award is something she could definitely win, and you’d be surprised what a positive impact Meryl Streep’s comments on the film could have from a few weeks ago
River 117,906
She will go, she already had a show-ceremony-show schedule before.. what is good about Vegas is that everything is there so she can fly after the show and rest until the ceremony.. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

And I don't think Frances Mcdormand or Emma Stone wins were particularly obscure. Gaga's still the front-runner. Let's see how Globes go. ------ Yes, she'll go. I think obscure was the wrong word for it. I meant kind of like "indie" I guess? Three Billboards was definitely a non-commercial, indie film with a political message. I just feel like the Academy Awards are always political and based on more beyond just the performance. Every year I'm just oh of course that won. Even when it's not a good film. I forgot Emma won the Oscar though. Damn, that was lucky. She didn't particularly blow me away in that film and she had some pretty strong competition. Gaga is so new to the game and I feel the same thing will happen to her as what happened with Saorise Ronan for Lady Bird. She got the Globe Best Actress (the youngest to win I think), but didn't win anything else at the other major award shows. The Globes are usually generous at acknowledging talent that might not be recognised otherwise. After Saorise won the Globe, Frances McDormand beat her at the Oscars, Critics' Choice, BAFTAs and SAGs. I fear the same will happen with Lady Gaga and Glenn Close probably. So I really want Gaga to get it tonight.
